In nursery school, children are engaged in school readiness activities such as reading, writing, counting, number recognition and problem solving in a fun filled but purposeful manner. Children are encouraged to corroborate their learning through collaborative activities in the areas of dramatics, science and arts.
A nursery school is a very relaxed environment and it exposes your child to a wide variety of activities that are both fun and aid your child's learning and development.
A nursery is a school for children between the ages of three and five years old, Nurseries are staffed by suitably qualified and other professionals who encourage and supervise educational play, rather than simply providing childcare. It is a pre-school education institution, part of early childhood education.
The majority of children start nursery between the ages of 2 and 3. At this age children are independent and curious. Children are growing more interested in other children. These are all signs that your child is ready to start nursery and begin socialising with other kids.
